Dirty
You can be dirty but still be smelling nice
My sister runs an online perfume oil store (you can check her Facebook page @Imperial Scents)
A while back, she had a lot of deliveries to make in Lagos but because she's currently not in Lagos, she sent the canisters and bottles to me so I could help her fill the perfume oils from the canisters into smaller bottles and then, do the delivery too. I was on it for like 3 days straight!
On one of the days, I didn't have my bath till night and the few people I met kept saying I was smelling so nice (Imperial Scents can do that to you😅) but I was just smiling 'cause I knew I hadn't had my bath. I knew I was dirty.
Then it struck me that the same way I was dirty but smelling nice is the way a lot of Christians are. People see us and make nice comments about us, they tell us we are burning for God, they tell us our anointing is smelling nice but to God, we are dirty. In fact we are stinking.
The same way I was the only one that knew I hadn't had a bath, is the same way you are the only one that knows if you are not in a right standing relationship with God.
People can hear you sing and give praises to God, angels can ascend and descend when you act drama but hope you aren't just doing activities?
Hope you are not just a dirty Christian but smelling nice like one that has a relationship with God.
I am sharing this post so that you can check yourself. It's not too late to be neat and also smell nice. I mean, it's not too late to have a relationship and also do wonders for God.
Why would you be dirty and smell nice, when you can also be clean and smell nice.
People would talk their own and make nice comments but at the end of the day, it's just you and your maker. It's just you and God.
Those folks that were healing in the name of Jesus were smelling nice to people but God didn't know them (ie, they were smelling to God) don't be like them. Choose to be clean to God, have a right standing with God and also smell nice in your work for God.
