Happy Children's Day
In recent days, I have been thinking a lot about being a child of God. Maybe it's because subconsciously I knew children's day was fast approaching or maybe it's because I feel like I am falling short and I need to do more with regards to being a child of God (I think it's more of the latter🙈). Check out what I wrote in the previous children's day. God created heaven and earth; he created everything and everyone but that does not make everyone children of God. You become a child of God when you receive Jesus and believe in His Name (John 1:12-13). Being a child of God involves having a relationship with God, being obedient to Him, walking in His precepts among other things. There are times we think that it's our activities for God or service to God that makes us worthy of being children of God forgetting that He loves us first and it's really not about what we do.
